Why are we attracted to bad boys/macho louts? Perhaps we're cave-girls at heart and get turned on by brawny men? Glad to be beyond all that

And not just the younger generation Troosha
even older women seem to go for the 'bad boys' perhaps it's the element of danger that lures! An excellent poem which begets food for thought! Many blessings and thanks

A wonderfully creative and thought provoking poem Troosha. It stirs and reminds me, "you can't judge a book by it's cover". Although there is something exciting about a bad boy, some I'm sure are the tenderest and have the biggest heart underneath it all.

I don't think I ever really thought about the living ever after with a
comitted realtionship when I was young. I married way too young.

I am sure you've heard the song that says "Bad bad bad boys you make me feel so good." This subject is so true, because girls are curious about things they are not familiar with, especially knowing a bad boy.  It is a great subject that was described in a nice poem .

mmmnnn I love the bad ones, especially in movies,  I have no idea why except we all love the un predictable.  I am at an age now though to be able to say that the one I really loved in my life, the one that made my dreams come true was the guy you described at the end and he was amazing.  My son is like him and worries sometimes why all the girls go for the bad guys and not him so much.  well i brought him up to be nice, so come on girls, there are some lovely guys out there........

Troosha - hi, Good Morning. I really don't know why girls go for the bad guys, some kind of appeal I think. Maybe they find them sexy?? Loved the poem. Excellent as usual.

I agree with some of the comments already made - a hard-nosed exterior
often shelters the gentlest spirit deep within......

I have a young friend who is dating a bad boy..

he proposed to her not too long ago.  I'm totally against this relationship and I keep trying to tell her that she is too young, smart, and pretty...she deserves better!

She doesn't listen.

Troosha ~.~
Great piece! (I could envision the scene, smell the smoke...) -- and, like some women, I married a "bad boy" who was as meek as a lamb when it came to matters of the heart. Thanks for sharing. Peace, blessings and understanding.

I have always been to the bad boys, my son looks like a bad boy but is as sweet as they come

Captivating poem!  I fell into the trap of many a bad boy, and think I finally found my bold compromise!  My husband is brash and tough, but with a heart of gold and unanticipated depths of thoughtfulness.  In fact, you have inspired me to write my own poem on the subject.  Thanks Troosha!

How true this is.  There's just something about a bad boy that draws the attention of the girls--for a time.  Often there are later regrets.
