I know it took me a while to reply here and I do apologize for that.  I am not a lawyer. Hopefully I am just good and making my points.

Obviously I hold no value myself in the idea that the Devil made anyone do anything, since I very much believe the whole concept of tech Devil to be as silly as it gets and even harder to believe than the idea of God.  But many Christians claim that it is the Devil's influence that make people sin. I been told countless times here on Blogit that I am the Devil's puppet and doing his work for him. If you make such a claim, then in truth all sinners are victims.

I've written a post in the past that I might repost for you that talks about how between Jesus dying for one's sins and the concept of the Devil, that Christianity seems to be a religion about not having to be responsible for one's actions.  I would be interested in your take on that idea.

In a later blog you state that you believe we have free will.  That would mean we have the abiilty to choose whether or not to sin.  Unfortunately we have prisons full of sinners who claim that they are nothing more than victims.  "The devil made me do it" conveniently lets us off the hook.  Jesus didn't give his life so that we could minimize our sins or make excuses for them.  He came to forgive them and advocate a restitution for us with God.  In my life confession and a degree of honest remorse initiate that process.  I believe that Manson's girls chose to follow him... all the way to prison.

this means Christians are condemned to Hell, -- nobody's going to Heaven!
they fall prey to the Devil's temptations just like everyone else.

Are you a lawyer by any chance, you seem to be able to argue your point
extraordinarily well. With age comes wisdom some times and I am not believing in the devil these days.

This was definitely an interesting viewpoint. Of course, I see it in a different way. Those who do evil actually become satan, either temporarily or for a long time. Its not that the devil made him do it but that the devil did it and left him to foot the bill!
