Adnohr, really, purple can be quite nice!
I was once much taken with someone who had tipped the ends of their softly-red hair with a pale lavender, and it was lovely!

I can remember my mom roping me into doing her home hair-color. She was attending some special event that evening, and was quit upset when my efforts made her hair a dull purple. Well, I suppose my hysterical laughing didn't help....LOL.
