That’s good. It can lead to health complications in a parent from worrying. And it’s great that you feel better. Thank you. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

Wonderful post Bill... I feel thankful I had not had to deal with those issues as far as my family is concerned... but I have dealt with them in a professional basis and know how devastating they can be. Your story is very real. Bravo

Re: rockingrector

He sat on the sofa, picking up a steamy Nora Roberts romance paperback on the coffee table. He flipped past the models that held each other in front of a mountain on the cover to a paragraph in the middle about which part of the anatomy to kiss first in bed fully clothed. He shrugged. Too bad for Miss Roberts that they don’t make made for television movies anymore he thought. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

I do like Nora Roberts, especially her books about Eve Dallas and Roarke. Steamy but great fun and fast moving plots.

It’s a topic that I hear interest in. The story’s very apposite in reality. I used the technique of surrealism in classic films for the black humor in this story. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

Love, indeed they hurt so much that they make this teenage girl series Clique Girl look like a soda fountain counter. In other words it limits and stops their lives drug dealers notwithstanding. BC-A, Bill*s Cyberspace Hotlink

That’s good. They say that it’s safe. It’s who you went to bed with or didn’t go to bed with. But, I don’t want to know who would do that to me to begin with. Casually keep an eye out and there’s Neighborhood Watch but they should train the watchdogs to bite the criminals and not like the mailman. BC-A, Bill*s Cyberspace Hotlink

The issues of drugs and violence do hit close to home. Luckily I've never felt my safety was at risk due to others.

Until we have the moral fortitude to eliminate drug dealers by force we will pay the consequences of a society in a continual downward spiral to oblivion............

Re: sam

Here it’s the killer watch toy Chihuahua, poodle, and black and #1 hit dog a yellow mutt that I call Willy. Otherwise I see the police on the shoulder with cars. They obviously stopped them for more or otherwise than speeding. Years ago I worked with a young man. The company van used to pick him up in front of his and his wife’s apartment over a store. The bosses wanted to help him. Then one day one of them read in the paper that he and his wife were arrested in a major drug operation bust. He said that he was shaking because he was in the van every day, sweetheart. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

They don't hit too close for me
Although I think that drug abuse in it's current form is an inevitable consequence of our instant gratification culture, the same as violence is spawned by our quick fix mentality. To fix the problems we need to address the cause - the engineered commercialism of western society.

The drug issue has always been to close to home! I do not feel that way regarding the violence! Even my town is safe as any large town can be! Things happen but not as a result of drugs, or at least I am not aware of it! I would certainly dislike being in an area where this is a problem! Your discussion clubs always have me thinking, which is a great thing! I hope you have a marvelous day, too! sam

BCA - these days drugs and violence related crimes are so rampant and children are getting more and more involved which is a real sad thing. Which is why I feel moral upbringing is so important. Good storyline.
