Ayurvedic doctors of The Art of Living Center have suggested two anti-flu remedies to boost immunity: (1) tea made from simarouba leaves, tulsi/basil, amla/Indian gooseberry and amrut (an Indian herb) or (2) ginger and turmeric powder mixed with either limejuice or honey, twice a day. They also suggested burning incense to cleanse the air. Other remedies are also doing the rounds, since there is a great amount of panic here in India; the second one seems the easiest! Thanks for stopping by!

I found all this information to be interesting. I have always used natural herbs and was active in research the thirteen years my husband and I made natural herbal products. The totally new one to me was fibromyalgia treatment. Good post.

I take Olive Leaf extract and Grapefruit Seed Extract as natural
antibiotics when I need them, but something everyone can afford is the lemon. "
Lemon-juice is a powerful antibacterial. It has been proved by experiments that the bacteria of malaria, cholera, diphtheria, typhoid and other deadly diseases are destroyed in lemon-juice. Lemon-juice prevents or restrains influenza, malaria and cold." Much more here: http://www.earthincommon.com/nutrition_01-article.html
