This bit makes a nice opening for a thriller, kinda reminds me of scenes
from "Burn Notice" which is fun to watch. Except for your lady being Asian, she "works" like Fiona, and I agree with Elinjo's comment that the banter is working... Thanks for visiting the on ramp to the fast lane. :)pat

The banter between the couple and the conversation about the asking price are hilarious! This is tantalizing; when are they going to get down to liquidating him? A really good read.
