There are two old sayings that come to mind here, Will.
One, first uttered, as far as I know by my brother: "Childhood is the last remaining form of slavery left in the world."
Two, probably read on a T shirt somewhere: "Be nice to your kids -- they're the ones who will decide what nursing home to put you in."

It is sad that the parents have to fend for themselves when they need their children. When will this farce end?

You trouble maker, you! lol This was a fun read! I love the cycle, soon it will be my children's turn to take the reins of getting their kids through school! I certainly hope they will discover and appreciate my efforts for them and do the same for theirs! Then send me to the retirement home! What a vicious cyle! lol sam
