Experiment away, Strat!
Strat,
This sounds yummy, although I have always heard that long-cooked shrimp becomes rubbery and tough. I am going to give this a try anyway, because if what "everybody says," is always believed, there would be nothing new under the Sun, EVER! I'm betting on you, my friend.

I'm guessing the grocery store has some zuccini...
Although it can be tricky if you live in a place where it is not normally grown -- but virtually any squash will do.
