Thanks to all for your comments. It seems that 'seek and you shall find' was left out of the picture. Like TAPS said, he should be praying on the way to the Doctor!

I beleive you're right Dave-re: the praying! How very sad.I believe that
God DOES know about each and everyone one of us---too many for just one to resolve all issues and so--He/God--deligates to those He trusts! I like this very much. Chris.

I read that story and was appalled. Why do ultra-religious people believe that God is unable to act through doctors? just isn't logical.
