You can do a lot of storytelling in a canoe without a paddle. Beginning today I’m working outdoors. It looks cloudy behind me. It’ll pay the rent. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

...it doesn't matter...
...I've been writtem up for both choices ...doing ...and not doing ...and more than once  ...self employment is the ideal. ...just a current opinion.  ...but what bends my mind around, is how you take me on a trip with whatever you write ...and you punch buttons of memory ...like the write ups ...and boss power trippers.   well, done!

Personally, I like my 'employees' (none of them are paid!) to take their own initiative, but I do like to know what#'s going on, so I like them to keep me informed of what they're about.

Re: Soul Builder101
I think of when employees that rank below the supervisor argue over how a task can be done. In such a circumstance they would have to consider the whole operation of the area that they’re working in and the practices of their company that are set by precedent. For the latter they should take a course that respects the space of other departments and the invoice if it requires moving a shipment out of a secure location. For this reason there are specific tasks that might require the authorization by a supervisor. Thank you for your good point. BCA, Bill’s RJJst

Re: Discussion Club

You know that’s the theory behind the benefit of unions. In this way autonomy with or without them works certainly. The only time that I would find an exception is when employees that rank below the supervisor argue over how a task can be done. For the latter they should take a course that respects the space of other departments and the invoice if it requires moving a shipment out of a secure location. For this reason there are specific tasks that might require the authorization by a supervisor. Thank you for your good point. Unfortunately, I experienced an exception recently. BCA, Bill’s RJJst

I think its best to inform the supervisor and let him decide!

I would like to see employees get autonomy.

BCA - I think it's best to ask the Supervisor first otherwise it may seem like they are overriding the Supervisor's authority. Thank you for your visit BCA and I like Cat Stevens (Yusuf). Not heard of him for a long time now.
