I love it!! My mom had an unbeatable approach that I've begun to adopt: when she would bring out a big bowl of spinach or something that kid's don't automatically like, she would gauge our reactions. If we kind of grimaced or said "I don't want any of that", she would say "You can't have any of this. I made it for myself." Immediately our interest was always piqued. She would persist with the act, by sighing with mock exasperation at our pleas to try it and saying "One bite.." She got us to wolf down things that we probably wouldn't have touched otherwise!
