I don't think I will miss you.
You never seemed to understand a word I said.

The comment about Christians mostly is based on the Christians I have met. I would honestly place about 90% of them as being that way. They do not have open minds and will not listen to reason or logic.
Not sure I understand the last part of your comment there though.

I do not believe in the God of the Bible one bit.
I would not be surprised to learn there is a greater force out there, but we really do not know what it is.

hope you have a good thanksgiving!
kooka. you are always heard. But I do not agree with the blanket assumption that Christians are afraid of logic and reason. Of course logic and reason have there place in the heiarchy of my decision making process, as in any healthy human being. but they do not ever superceed my faith. It is not necessary for me to reinforce what I believe with finding flaws in what I dont believe. I do not avoid reading materials that are not of my faith out of fear of being persuaded, I am consumed and passionate by what I believe to the point of forever exploring the depths of it so that it takes up much of my time allotted. Do you believe what you believe that strongly? There is nothing wrong with being educated so you can understand another point of view, but you seem overly concerned with finding flaws with organized religion. Of course religion is flawed, religion is the worst thing that has ever afflicted the human race. you are obviously an intelligent, educated man so you must have investigated beyond the cemetary of organized religion: that obvious man made farce.......to the truth

you take the same approach to organized religion
as I do to organized schooling...
but here's the thing.... Organized it the operative word here.
Just because I do not want my kids in school does not mean I don't want them educated..
So I just hope that just because you don't believe in church does not mean you do not believe in God or at least spirituality??
You message has not fallen on deaf ears.. I hear you... all the more reason to pray.
oh, and happy THANKS giving day!
