I have a slightly different approach. I am neutral or blank and when I need to, I produce what it takes to deal with situations...then back to blank! Blank is not sleep, it is poised awareness! Hope it makes sense!

I'm trying to find that delicate balance.  I like to be kind and understanding, but some take this for weakness.  I have to better assert myself, but not be overbearing either.
