ILW, you misunderstood something
When I talk about conservative fundamentalists, they are true fundamentalists. There is a level of fiscal conservative ideas that I do agree with actually, but if you look at the driving force of the conservatives right now, they ignore the useful aspects of it all, and push the BS and are much more fundamentalist in their thinking that fiscal. This is easily proven by those who are 'one issue' voters, since that issue has always be religious based.
As for my fate here on Blogit, that is still up in the air. I am leaning towards leaving here and focusing my efforts in other areas and allowing the conservative fundamentalists to have their playground.

everyone has to do what they have to do
I'm new to blogit and appreciate the people who read what I write. I read a diversity of things.
My issue with what you said, is I think it's interesting that if you are a fiscal conservative, which I am, for some reason the label Fundimentalist always follows..... why is that?
Fiscally conservativism comes from a variety of backgrounds, livlihoods, and religions. At least, that is what I've found.
Sorry, you feel you have to take your thoughts and go home. But, like I said, everyone has to do what they have to do..... No one should hold them back

Well there are quite a few people here who see the world differently from me; I'm neither conservative, fundamentalist or Christian. However apart from a scuffle or two I've found that people here seem to be civil, even though I'm sure they at times disagree.

I've left this place so many times, and have sworn I would never return
for these very reasons. But whether it shrinks or expands, the soul of
Blogit remains what it was before: A proving ground for the aspiring
writer. I don't believe it is the "Writing Marketplace" it ought to
be, but it has its merits.
Best thing is to try not to take things
too personally. It's like when the bullies in school put Kick Me signs
on the nerd's back. The bullies are in charge then, but eventually the
nerd takes over the world and builds computers that the bullies then
use to print out more Kick Me signs.
It's just a cycle, like everything. Good luck!

yeah I almost agree -- leave Blogit to the conservative fundies
so they can hang out here in their own little world without any actual reference to the real world. this would be a fun playground for them and their air-headed ideas.
of course, you go -- and I go.
