Try this:  Go to  "Write," then "Edit" (for the blog selected), then "Change Display Settings," then under "Entry Excerpt..." try changing the number of characters to 75 (Short).  This should narrow the width of your entry space and widen the width of your sidebar. This may solve your problem -- at least I hope it will. Peace, blessings and understanding.~SS

I might be able to refer the problem of the screen view of my sidebar. However how do you get it wide and the text in the main body still within the screen? My default sidebar was rectangular and still is. But gosh I had introductory html language but can’t adjust it. I hit an error in the template. Oh gee. Ha. BCA, Bill*s RJJst
