Nita, I spent quite a bit of time in the hospital yesterday and went
through a number of pamphlets/brochures on good eating for good mental health, a number of which included much of what you've said in your post....there's no way around it - what we eat affects us physically and mentally....thanks for reposting this...

thanks for the info! My husband has borderline high blood pressure, so I will try to incorporate more of these things into the food that I cook and prepare.

I was just eating watermelon tonight.

I take blood pressure medication, so the list makes great sense to me. So fun are the fish tank and little pond too, so relaxing.

Much that can help your readers. Skip the carbs though, and use rye, spelt, quinoa, kamut, amaranth, black rice, wild rice etc! Starch becomes sugar.
