Mmm?   I suspect the 'kilted' part has a lot to do with your love of Pipers.  I've been in Czechoslovakia once, but I can't remember doing the Polka.

Re: johnmacnab
Oh I do love Highland Games and kilted bagpipers (almost as much as Czech Festivals and Polka).

Getting too familiar I think, Taps.  I started a post over 3 days ago about the nosey, chattery little thing, but I haven't had time to finish it, what with baby sitting, car troubles, Highland Games, trench digging and cat stabbing.  Perhaps tomorrow....oh, that's the first day of a giant 2 day auction.  Maybe now?   I'll see if I recover from a day of heat exhaustion and marveling at 1,507 Scottish pipers and drummers.

Believe me, Whacky, here it does, and I'll bet it does in your household as well.

A zebra crossing would be good.  Planet Dunesifter is going thru an exciting change.  The recent heavy atmosphere is lightening up.

The squirrel is now trying to make friends with Samantha, our dog, but so far all Sam does is snarl and pounce.  But you never can tell, and the squirrel doesn't know that dogs and squirrels do not cohabit.

I don't know about being a wonderful squirrel granddad.  According to Ell I am an antagonistic human granddad.  Sigh!  Will I ever get anything right??

Here we have robins that are at least 4 times bigger than 'real' ones.  It seems that Life is Good now that you are back home.  Good Luck mneme.

It just 'dawned' on me (sorry for the awful pun, but I'm serious), that perhaps Samantha woke me up earlier because she'd been frightened by a peeping squirrel.

I don't think he understood what happened to his mother.  Immediately after I posted the blog, he crossed the road.  He looked right, left and right a million times, but stopped on the road each time.  Methinks he doth not have long to go.

I am glad that the two of you were there for him to adopt.  I think you would be a wonderful squirrel grandfather.

I would loved to have seen it! Unbelievable what creatures will do at times! Too funny on the culprits using the birdbath to soften their spoils! sam

That was a pretty dramatic training exercise.
Hope the little guy avoids the hard road.
