So true, I can relate to the dull glow from smoke that's still a long way away.. it's kind of other-wordly and it's a relief when the rain comes and cleans up the air.

Much gratitude to all of you for prayers and thoughtful care. The rain has arrived in showers last evening and overnight. It has cleared the smoke somewhat and also reduced some of the fire. The weather forcast is for more showers and thunderstorms. But today the sun shines in the Okanogan! Thanks everybody!

This reminds me of Mt.St .Helens when it erupted and spewed ash all over southern B.C. Keeps one on edge . We had wind and some lightening this afternoon and more is forcast this evening. The good part is some little rain.
