Well, I am 48 now but i greatly appreciate your comments. The only question I would have is do you have older siblings? If not then how did you start listening to 3 Dog Night? I am happy that they have not been "generationalized", that term sounds so terminal, lol!

Yes, I hope one day they will say, "Oh, yeah, Dad showed that to me". That will be a proud moment. I will always love "Shambala". Recently, even my wife would look at me wierd when the BP commercials came on TV and they were playing "Shambala". Heck, my wife was born in 1965 yet she obviously did not get into my 3 Dog Night.

I'm 26 and I love Three Dog Night, too, if it's any more of a comfort to you!  Most of my friends like Three Dog Night as well, so their music has not been "Generationalized" as your kids would have you believe!  Sooner or later, one of their friends will ask "Have you ever heard this song?  It's great!"  to which they will beam with pride and say "My dad showed me that when I was little."
