Great post..
I haven't been very active in Blogitville the last few weeks, and just read your post today.. Glad to know that I'm not the only mother racing against the computer and internet lately (to answer questions from an early Primary Schooler).. My 6-year-old son goes on Google search for anything he wants to know, and suddenly explaining to me his finding, half in English and half in Indonesian (despite the grammar, I admire his confidence).. Thank you for sharing..

Your son is absolutely adorable and brilliant in his thinking. Neil Armstrong's first words on the moon is a classic..and yes I did have a blast of a holiday - thank you.

Thank you for the encouraging comment on my blog. I very much doubt that anyone visited the moon. For one, the radiation level beyond the protective van allen belt would destroy protoplasm. Many of the pictures were staged. Close examination reveals that eg shadows not consistent. One researcher says that Stanley Kubrick created all those sequences using front screen projection. His arguments are quite convincing. SEE

Re: Wonder what he will do when he discovers the poetic licence!
believe me, you don't want to know - he's already showing signs of it. i've already told him very firmly that he cannot show his latest verse to his grandma. ROFL

I tried to explain to our children this week
what it felt like to watch the first man on the moon, via a tiny black and white tv. I'm not sure if it was the moon walk or the black and white set they found hardest to grasp. Nice post.

Welcome back!
Lovely to read your interesting post, as well as the comment on mine. Hope you're enjoying India! Where are you based? If you're in Delhi, watch out for the camps for the pilgrims! Look forward to your next post! Nita.

No question – an extremely enjoyable style of writing to read not to mention what a delightful story about your and your son’s journey through the intricacy of the English language. Pretty clever guy for age 7!

Children amaze me today. And, your kid talks more articulatively than today’s college stusdents that go to school to like socialize and sooo hang out, partying all the time. At least perhaps your kid will turn out serious and sincere by the time that he gets to college love. BCA, BillJRoost
