I don't know the whole story but....
sometimes we don't see other's true colors at all, we only hear about them or find out through outside avenues. You will get through it, it is inevitable, I only wish it goes as smooth as possible not "just" for your kids sake but for yours and his as well, it sounds like he's the one - in the end - who'll be doing all the true suffering.

i'm not quite sure why divorce has to be so ugly BUT i presume it just sums up how different you have both grown to be. He doesn't seem to understand he is being selfish and you have to be strong for your children. keep strong.
