Is there a remote possibility that he has been winding you up? Pretending to want a re-start but really laughing to himself. I only ask because I used to know someone like that, whose main delight in life was twisting his ex's life up.

I have a feeling that you will never be able to convince him of anything, for he is determined not to be convinced. Don't waste your time trying. Just do what you have to do and go on about your business. May you win what you feel is fair to you in the court battle.

I wish you peace in this transition. Love can change, stretch, transition into a completely different relationship and still be love without living in the same room, house, or country. Take it easy on yourself. Hard work... is life.
