RSM, you don't get it at all
I don't have to agree with every choice he makes in order to see that in general he is doing things right.
A man who I had great respect for, and he was a conservative fundamentalist (Although I don't hold that against him) had some words of wisdom you could learn from. No two people will never agree on EVERYTHING and if you ever meet someone who seems to agree with you about everything, don't trust that person.
Just because when Obama does the same kind of things Bush did I dislike it (Like the stimulious package), does not mean that I think Obama is doing a bad job as a whole. I am not ignorant enough to believe that any elected official would ever do everything perfectly or that someone I voted for woudl always do only what I would agree with. There is no contradiction what-so-ever in that.
I am glad you feel that Obama is headed in the right direction as well. By 2010 hopefully he will have cleaned up a lot of the mess Bush made and that by 2012 those who have been acting childish and attacking Obama blindly should have a chance to see his policies take effect and really have the positive impact they most likely will end up having, which should allow the American people to see just how dangerous and destructive conservative thinking has been to this country. And once the MACs come to their senses and realize how damaging their way has been and start for once doing what is right and best for this country, and become liberal, then yes, we can get back a sane nation at that time.

Re: RSM
"while I do not fully agree with everything he does, so far he seems to be thinking in the right direction"
So you are not thinking in the right direction correct? If obama seems to be thinking in the right direction and you do not agree with everything he does then...
Seems like more liberal contradiction to me. That's okay, half of this mess will be cleaned up in 2010 and the rest in 2012 then we can get back a sane nation again. Thanks your logic, facts and reasoning.

Corbin, I am starting to worry about you
Is it not enough to make baseless personal attack towards my father and I in your own comments section. To go to other people's comments section and make the same manner of personal attacks seem rather obsessive. Also, how hypocritical can you get? I mean here you are criticizing me for going of topic (Which I would love to see some examples of where I have done this) in a comment that is 100% off topic and has nothing at all to do with this post of the exchange that is going.
You obviously have a very unhealthy obsession with me and my father. That cannot be a good thing. Get away from the computer and do something fun with your family. I really think you need it right now.

RSM........
I love this jole everytime I see it....it's a classic......As to the Dynamic Duo......Why even deal with their craziness? You cannot carry on a sane discussion, because they can't stay on topic.......it's not even worth the click......

RSM
You defended what Bush did, and basically what we are seeing right now is the aftermath of the Bush years. Enve if McCain had won (In which case all hope would have been lost) most of the problems we are seeing now would still be there. it is just he would not have been trying to fix them, only make them worse.
Five yeas ago I talked abotu the economy collapsing if something wasn't done and the huge negative impact getting caught in Iraq was going have and how if Bush didn't start living in reality and stop claiming all was well, that when things fell apart it woudl be much worse than it needs to be. Well I was proven 100% correct in everything I said back then.
Right now I look at what Obama is doing and while I do not fully agree with everything he does, so far he seems to be thinking in the right direction and I very much believe that given time we will see that his ideas where what was needed to repair the insane amount of harm Bush caused.
Bush was the joke, that bad, insulting, poorly conceived joke and Obama is the one that has to go around cleaning up the rotten tomatoes that were the results of the joke.

Re: RSM, you're right
My friend, the joke is who you voted for, your voting practices and every democrat in this nation; those are the jokes. I am shocked at how someone like you can even defend what is going on now in this nation. I thought you were different but I can see you are not.

RSM, you're right
Republicans are of no real help to anyone at all, ever.
I'll have to take this poor joke and correct it so that the whole of the joke is actually accurate, and not just that one line.
