Thanks for the tip. I had just sat down and thought up my next summer poem
    But I had not though up the topic of the poem.  I was just sitting here watching nature tell me its next move with the weather.  Watching the leaves detach from the shade trees and fall and slip and slide in the wind to fall to the dusty streetness below.  Despite its covering of cement, it still looks, tastes, amd feels dusty jusst watching it happen.  Lakes here are 40 feet down from normal and half the corn crop of the state has been burned into oblivion in west texas and north texas.  Perhpas we wil have an early fall this year and the old high pressure ridge/dome will move back to the Pacific where it belongs.
