I'm sorry for the confusion. I looked into this and although I don't know for sure, I don't think PayPal requires a business PayPal account simply to receive payments (unless, of course, you need a business PayPal account for some other financial or legal reason).
If you're still concerned, I would recommend contacting PayPal for their read on the situation.
