Funny how in Victorian times and later women were seen as brainless
dolls in need of the strong support of a man. Perhaps this persisted until times of war when women suddenly became able to do all sorts of things unheard of because they were needed. Funny how when we as individuals need to stand on our own two feet we can. There are so few men like Wiley. Within this wonderful union I remain free and independant, as does he. We choose to be together.

What a blessing that we live in age, where we can stand on our own two feet and pay our own way, if and when our marriages become hell on earth.
