This is a wonderful day for us to celebrate.....I just wish all the kids shooting off fireworks and enjoying the fun and games knew exactly what it's all about....unfortunately, many don't have a clue. Maybe the day will come again when patriotism is an important part of every youngster's education......I'm an optimist!

It rained a lot all night here, so maybe it wet things down enough to keepi fireworks sparks from setting anything on fire.
