First guy I lefttoldme I wouldbecome a prostitute in Sydney...no
it never happened.
Second guy predicted that I would betrying tolive in a log cabin if I went to Canada. he was wrong too. I am glad that you were blessed with this pseudo experience thoughbecause I think you had a lotmore to contend with than just dropped socks.

That must have been a spooky experience. It took me 23 years to get

my freedom!

Very interesting, Pat_B.
With me it was kind of the other way around. After 30 years of marriage when in the midst of divorce, my ex- told me I would never be able to do without him, that I would end up being a bag lady on the streets. I never gave him that satisfaction. I think he is probably still waiting to be able to say, "I told you so!" He is very smug in his predictions.

If you weren't such a Democrat, and me such a Republican, I would swear we came out of the same pod......in 12 days it will be 31 years for me.....and counting.....sickening, isn't it? My fantasy is that he'll meet some other determined woman who will take over and take him off my hands!! And John's right.....great phrase!!

Yet another perfect phrase Pat -
'stuffing your psyche with accumulating resentment.' I think I may be doing exactly that, and it's time to change my thinking.
