That was a chilling question, Pat.  Some people here haven't taken down their outside Chrisy decorations - perhaps they know something we don't.

I'm always ready for autumn to come.  I love fall even though winter follows.

Saw that you left a few comments in poem form (yesterday, I believe) so I thought maybe this post would be a poem and I was right!  I’m still basking in July, however, and refuse to acknowledge that turning point when days slowly become shorter.  Nope – no counting the days for this girl.

Ummm, thanks a whole hell of a lot for this one!  Now I'm depressed.  I do love the title of this post.....but, I'm just getting into the reality that it is Summer!!  The Madison Avenue world is pushing time by in a whirl anyway....confusing all sense of season, pushing kids to grow up sooooo fast, making age a thing to be avoided at all costs.....don't give in to it, don't let them win....and the "them" includes the talking heads, too.  We've got months of summer left here in Texas....hell, November will probably still see me in sandals!  Come see me when your November rolls around, even if that's next week!

Christmas? Let us start talking about that after the crazy holiday season is over.

Uhhhh......
You're really really very melancholic these days.........
