Re: Re: THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS NOT LIBERAL ENOUGH
I received medical care that many cannot.  I had insurance coverage from my employment with the State of Missouri, which insurance paid quite well.  Had I been insured by another provider, I probably wouldn't have been able to afford the care.

Looking at the medicare supplements, I see where a lot of people would be hard-pressed to keep up with the medical bills even with the coverage.

And yes, I received the best care -- from one of the top hospitals in the country, and from the top physicians -- only because I chose to and they couldn't refuse me once I entered the ER and because I had insurance.

There are many that don't have insurance.  In some cases hospitals will not admit them.  In others, they are admitted and the patients and insurance companies that can pay make up the loss.

You pay now for people that cannot pay.  Probably more than if there were some sort of national insurance.

You paint a picture of things being so fine and rosy now. If they were, there wouldn't be such proposals.

ow can the government raise all ships? That's an impossibility without watering down the quality of goods and services

When you had your heart attack, were you not satisfied with your care? The government, had it had a a hand, might of deemed you unworthy to get the best care due to your age, not that you are that old but you get my point. That could never happen in our current health care system.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS NOT LIBERAL ENOUGH
In fact, it's not too far removed from the Republican Party.

Dems are too cowardly to really care for the good of the country, for real programs that will "raise all ships".

Dems' liberalness is another myth passed around by the Reaganesque conservatives to cow them and the news media and many others into silence or submission to a very evil conservative agenda.

Basically it's "if you don't agree with me, you are an evil liberal."

This shows the insidiousness of the Republican agenda.
