I used skin so soft for mosquitos in Mexico.  It seemed to help.  I have friends who went to India and would use skin so soft and a fan and never got bit.

TAPS
Skin So Soft is great....another thing is Listerine and water mixture, half and half....you might spray it on your clothes and hair for extra measure.  Enjoy yourself!

Taps
For Sinome’s sake, I hope it works.  I never knew it had a name but I, too, suffer from Skeeter Syndrome.  Try getting a bit on the eyelid.  Now that’s attractive come morning!!!!

I sure hope it works for you, Taps!
Could it be that easy?

TAPS

I sure hope it works! I also have been more exposed to the damn things lately, because of my evening walks in the woods with Jag, and if it works for you, I'm gonna have the Avon lady call here to sell me some Skin So Soft...

And I need some advice on the proper etiquette: do I have to ask her in for a cup of tea and a little gossip about the neighbours?

You're a braver woman than I, TAPS.  I'd be more worried about getting a reaction to the Skin-So-Soft.  Hope it works for you - at any rate you'll smell great.

oh TAPS you have me laughing imagining this giganitic red TAPS puffball
cheered me up it did no end. Let's hope for everyone's sake that Avon calling makes the mosquitoes go a crawlin' away from you!

No no no Taps... You do not need to soak yourself in it... though it will soften your skin and make it pretty as a babys bottom...  just apply it as you would sun screen just before you expose yourself to the pesky critters... and leave it on your skin ... Good luck!!!!!  I will say a special mosquitoes repellent prayer for you just in case  loll... but seriously... Its always worked for me and my friends... and I live in Miami which is in essence built on top of a swamp.  xoxoxo
