- Go to Sitting On The Moon
Beautifully captured sam - an all too familiar story ..
"Then forever seemed so far away
and now forever belongs to another day!
I will never give my heart again
for each time my emotions end in ruin."

I really enjoy this poem
I find it hard to relate to certain poetry, but yours just jumps out and makes one feel in the midst of your feelings. I enjoy your writing. I'll be reading more. Thank You!

I think you may have ended up on the Moon's dark side - come on over to the sunny one...

So Sad, though true. But there's always hope for Mr. or Miss. right.
Nice Poem!
God Bless!

Though your poem is about being a "Moonsitter", it reminded me of this from 1979's "Moonraker". I always liked watching it, and listening.

Ahh, the lure of the moon (sometimes misleading but a wonderful lure nonetheless).

I love this:
hasty lovers become strangers by daylight. Truth bluntly told as only you can!

I've been there...I know how that feels...but I also believe when it's
meant to be, love never ends. May you love again

Well put, the illusion of love is often the fault of the moons enchantments... thanks for the welcoming btw.
