Geez, did he cheat on you? Are you his wife? Why the anger about someone you don't know? There you go again, emotion and no brains!

Please Forgive Me
If I do not respond to some comments, please forgive me. At times I do not feel that I have the time to respond to certain types of comments that would result in a reply that would be the length of a full post; so what 's the point? I will try to answer all but sometimes a good reply would require having to write War and Peace.

RSM, can you take a joke?
I was half figuring your remark about Clinton was a joke, just not a very good one.  Oh, I guess that means you now have to resign because you told bad joke...

I am happy for you that you like Alan Keyes, but that is off topic really.

So you are saying you would vote for someone who you believe has as flawed of judgment as it gets (According to your on logic McCain is no better than any other sinner, which would put him in the same boat as murders and rapists) and should have no business at all being a politician because of his adultery over a person who is liberal...   Okay then.  what does that say about your priorities?  You would vote McCain into office, even though you are saying he should resign from office?  The more I try to figure it all out the more confusing it gets.  i guess somehow Palin, who has been caught in lies (Which are sins and there fore makes her no better than murders in your book) somehow is such a perfect golden girl with no flaws as far as you are concerned, that her being vice president somehow makes up for the piss poor character of McCain, who should not be holding any office at all, yet you will vote for hi to be president.  I voted for Obama because he showed he had much better character than McCain as far as I am concerned. I very much look at the character of those I vote for, which is generally why I vote third party. I also did not like Palin's character once we got to see just who she really was.

If we really were to follow you logic, just about ALL politicians should resign if they were honest.  But I guess it only matter once their 'sins' are discovered and out in the open and not as easy to defend as those politicians you really like.  Now we just need to wait and see what Palin's 'sins' are and if you actually will react the same way towards them.  After all there were rumors of her being unfaithful to her husband.

In your post, which you might want to reread since you seem to have not understood your own words. You said "Many people actually believe that a person's private life should remain that way even if they are in public service in government. I say no."  That is saying that politicians should not be allowed their privacy.  So I was commenting on a DIRECT line from YOUR post.  it is not my fault you can't seem to understand YOUR own writing.

Now could you point to me where in the past you have disagreed with republicans? Outside of your issue with McCain, and those issues were all over the wrong aspects as to why he was unfit for office, I really don't think I have seen you do that.

Corbin, what are you talking about?
My comment was fully on topic here.  Of course your comment has nothing at all to do with the topic and seems to be a weak attack on my character and that of my father, who hasn't even left a comment to this one.  If you feel otherwise, you could tell me what YOU think this post was about?  I could have sworn it was about politicians, adultery and morality, which is what my comment talked about.  Could you at least show me where I went off topic?

Also, you seem confused. I am only one person.  I knwo you often link me to my father in the comments, but to refer to a comment I make alone, with no comment at all from my father here as being from the 'dynamic duo' is clearly nothing more than a personal attack.

I keep thinking we have gotten beyond such things, yet here you are trying to stir the pot instead of adding anything of value to the exchange.

You're  actually hoping to get a comment that's actually about your topic from the dynamic duo?   ROTFLMAO......

Re: RSM, what do you want Bill Clinton to resign from?

You do not read carefully at all do you? When I said I was still waiting for Clinton to resign, I was joking because he does not hold an office but I was serious as well because he never did resign when he was in office. I guess I will have to explain each and every sentence separately. I know he does not hold an office now.

As for voting for a liberal Republican for president who I never supported before last year, I will remind you yet again that I voted for Alan Keyes in the primaries as I have in the past. With Palin on the ticket I had no choice but to vote for McCain over the worthless idiot the liberal party has produced.

You are lecturing me about morals??? HA! Is there a book of morals written by an atheist out there? I should have expected such a juvenile response as you have given here. You say you wonder what I would have done if Sanford was president? I just told you, read it again! He should resign as governor, if he was presdient then he should have resigned. I do not waiver in my beliefs. As I have stated one million times, everyone is a sinner but you must suffer the consequences from bad behavior. Character is what it is all about but all liberals disagree with that concept.

I did not say they were not allowed privacy. Not sure where you got that from either. My suggestion to you is read a post and comment on exactly what is in the post. Do not grasp the general idea then write a comment on what you think the person says. I have disagreed wih Republicans in the past but you seem to forget that fact.

RSM, what do you want Bill Clinton to resign from?
He's not holding any office right now is his?  I mean seriously, what could he resign from?

After reading this post I am lost as to how you could go and vote for McCain, who is now married to one of the women he cheated on his first wife with.  It is very well known that he cheated on his first wife with multiply women and had even bragged about it.  Yet as far as we know Obama has not cheated on his wife.  Which one according to your logic here is the better person?

I personally don't care at all.  I find it very telling though that your great, morally superior Republicans keep showing themselves to be no better than anyone else.  Since you general attitude here often seems to be about how horrible and immoral all liberals are and how great and morally perfect conservatives are.  Although it is good to see you for once actually speaking out against a republican candidate instead of trying to come up with various defenses for his actions.  Although I very much wodner just what you would do if thsi guy had been president.

I personally don't care and very much feel this is the kind of thing you let stay out of the public eye so the family can deal with it however they feel they need to.  No need to cause more damage and stress to them.  They are human beings after all and they deserve the courtesy of being allowed some level of privacy to handle their own problem in peace.

And no, just because a person is intelligent, does not mean they will agree with you.  I find it very insulating that you made such a comment in this post.  People are entitled to make mistakes and poor judgment at times.  Such poor judgment as we are talking about here only harms the person's family and should be left for the family to deal with.  As far as I am concerned an intelligent person would be respectful enough to allow such matters to remain as private as possible and would rather focus on the real problems that out there.

You seem to want everyone to resign over every little mistakes they make it seems, unless they are former President Bush, then he can get away with making mistake after mistake after mistake and not have to resign.

I was actually about to write my own post on this issue when I saw yours.  I still might if I have the time.
