I agree with you that most people don't learn from past mistakes. But it's encouraging that a few, including some of the great movers and shakers, do. Even this small number gives me hope for the future.

I understand what you mean...
...about learning from past mistakes; but, if you look at the history of the world, nothing much has chnaged in 5,000 years. People do not learn from past mistakes in general. They keep repeating them. It is human nature apparently.
