That's a pretty nice poem. I remember the tree we used to climb, but it died when my parents had it pruned
. When I turned 21 my dad took me to a bar where all his friends' were. I didn't drink by then, and he bragged about me when I ordered a coke!

Happy Independence Day your story poem is very meaningful..My husband has passed and I remember him when his extended tour scared me to pieces then his helicopter was shot down. Memories will sustain all who believe and that and pictures are comforting.Bless you Shelly and your family.Lv. FEmia

Wonderful! I still remember the intensity of the Bunsen burner in my high school chemistry class. I love what you do in your writing.

I love the mysterious way that this blog is set up. It adds to the intrigue and mystique of the poems that are posted as a sort of window into a scenario-there is a partial view of what may have happened here, but that is all we're allowed-a piece at a time.

Thank you so much for your invaluable advice. I'll watch out for the 'bespoke arm' and will keep my expectations down. I won't talk to them until I have a very clear synopsis for the book and that will only come when I'm physically in Galicia and get inspired. Thanks again for caring, it's absolutely lovely.
