kooka_lives - That line of reasoning is nothing more than a simple cop out
To say that someone needs any type of pre-requisite knowledge or must believe a certain way to fully comprehend the bible, reduces what is supposedly "God's word" to nothing more than a manuscript controlled by men. It becomes a cop out because anyone attempting to use this line of reasoning; is using it as a means of dismissing the countless inconsistencies, redundancies and outright gibberish contained in the bible.

each believes they are correct and the others, incorrect.
