You're not the only one who can't do maths! I had a total emotional block about it at school and have only passed a maths exam once in my life; that must have been a fluke too. I too worked with young children and had no problems giving them 'number' experiences. Sometimes I consider going on a maths course now just to see whether I could learn it. Never too late to learn! Hope you get the job!

I used to love math (and was pretty good at it) but don’t ask me to do any calculations in my head anymore.  Hope you get the job – a bit of a circle you’ve done this year but maybe that’s just what you needed.

I believe you have enough proficiency to get the position; especially since they know your abilities and you are more than familiar with procedure! sam

I hope you get your job back!!  I hate math too.  I've always hated math.  Even my students know it.  When I need to solve a problem, I just call it out and my students give me the answers!

shelly_b, maths were my worst subjects in High School..algebra and
geometry...I passed them both, but by the skin of my teeth.....
