Exactly--unlike the previous PM, I doubt, Nethanyahu will give up much more because of his own views.
Congress might force Obama to do something more, but I doubt Obama would act on his own.
From what I've gathered, Ahmadinejad's possession of a nuclear weapon is a terrifying prospect tp Israel.

Your analysis of the situation in the Middle East seems realistic. The prospects are dismal to say the least. Nethanyahu has not offered and is not in a position to offer very much to the palestinians. After all he has got keep his own supporters happy.
