Teddy... your beautifully sad poems... they touch my heart. I wish I could hug that sadness away, for I've been there, watching tears I thought I could will away fall from eyes that in spite of all my efforts refused to hide the sadness within. Change is the only constant in life... so just wait for it to happen, it has happened before and it will again... as the tide that sooner or later always returns to the shore what had been lost to the sea, life will bring you back to where you were, perhaps not exactly to the same spot as before, but close enough that you will see and feel again what you saw and felt before.
