I just happen to stumble on to your blog and you think like I do, but I have made it too easy for my daughter. I retired from a good paying job in December of last year and had my dreams the way I thought my life would go, but so far almost six months later nothing is the way I planned. I have my two grown kids living with me,as that seems the way of life here, and they are both struggling to make it. My daughter just dawned on her that she has a car payment to make and dear old mom cant do it any longer. Because I made her life so simple she is having a hard time adjusting. I have struggled right at 25 years since my divorce, but always was able to provide for her. I too came from parents who worked hard and worked hard on their marriage. My dad died just before they celebrated their 50th anniversary. No life is not like it once was, even though the country seems to be in the same state, but its greed that got us here.
