But whenever you do, make sure you plan a long enough stay! I was concerned about not overstaying my welcome, as can happen so easily with one's own daughter--but she and I have always had a great time, and I always wish I'd planned another week or two...

Sorry I haven’t dropped in for a while so I had some “catch-up” reading to do. Sounds like you’ve had a marvelous trip (loved the Mystery Tour). Looking forward to the photos. And I love how you send postcards to people (you sent me one a couple of years back). Now sit on the suitcase and zip it up!

I love your travel blog and am really looking forward to more tales and pics. NZ is on the list, but we've never achieved it yet and probably never will, so it's great to hear about it in such an entertaining way.
