Legalize drugs too - free will shall get rid of excess baggage
Very soon all drugs will be legalized just like alcohol and cigarettes and why not, it's the American way. Isn't that what "true Americans" want total freedom to live or die like they choose? Why should any freedom loving American care if their neighbor wants to shoot up with heroin or drink 5-cases of Budweiser in an afternoon? Besides when they're all drunk or high on drugs it will be easier for the "socialists" to take over. Ha ha ha - I'm sure they're going to take this last part very seriously!

Redneck Uprising
Looks like the sure want to upset a redneck is to talk about taxing his cigarettes and alcohol. Better start rolling your own smokes and go back to making moonshine because your habits are going to make you "uninsurable" as in you won't get healthcare coverage when your lungs show up black and your liver is wrinkled like a prune.

Re: what would help your state's tobacco industry?
Has nothing to do with the tobacco industry. No ulterior motive here at all. Just stating the facts. Why would you burden the people in any state with very high taxes at a time like this if you wanted the economy to grow? Sit back and watc X-man and learn; you will see the failure of this administration and its' underlings.

Post I support free will in vices. I guess that they chose the added tax route to raise money. Alcohol causes high enough. BCA, BillJRoost
