Communication is food for the spirit...
Sometimes just exchanging a simple 'hello' nourishes that aspect of our selves.

Why do I write?
Texture,
Marvelous name, I wish I had chosen it first.
I thought that I began writing for several reasons, but when these proved to be false goals, and/or unattainable, I had to reassess the reason that I continued beating my head against that wall. Validation, inspiring laughter or thought, is satisfying but in the final analysis, I conclude that I just cannot do otherwise, for reasons important only to me. Two weeks after I stop blogging, because of corporeal or brain death, nobody will think of, or remember "Good ol' Whatzisname." Sad, huh?

The obsession and the analyzation go on ..... it makes me who I am, i guess. :) I like to know that I have company. Thanks for that. :)

I don't really know who I write for. I just do it because it seems to be a part of me.
I think I won't analyze it too much. I might not like what I figure out. LOL

Expressing your own thought in writing and sharing them with others is BRAVERY and a way to know yourself and your true emotions.

Like Wiley, it's good therapy for me. It allows me to get some thoughts out of my head or explore some emotions rather than letting them eat away at me.

Re: FIS
As you can see, it is early morning and I still couldn't sleep. :) Before I started writing things were always tied up nicely before sleep. And i really like sleep. :)

when I came here 5 years ago....I wrote for myself..
I was a damaged soul and writing helped me.......but now I write for me and for the audience...I enjoy hearing peoples feedback - especially if its different to my opinion...I have learned alot by being here.

I set out to write 900 poems and when I hit that number I am done! No other reason than the damn #! I read the other blog and I hope you keep it because it is great food for thought! sam

I try to write for myself.
I hate it when I can't think of a conclusion and leave a post more or less hanging there.
