Allah is a name for the same God Christians worship.

Arab Christians worship Allah.

It is just a name.

just as in French, it's Dieu, or in Spanish, it's Dios.

or in Hebrew it's El -- the basic root of Allah.

Greek is Deos.

Arabic it's Allah.

Allah was the god of Christians before it was of Moslems.

you need a lesson in logic rather than smart aleckness.

I express my beliefs. I am steadfast in my beliefs and you obviously know where I stand on every issue or topic. I am sorry you feel that expressing my views as being flaunting my opinions.

"Most probably" are the keys words in your response here. I am simply addressing this article as it was printed. Your words leave many questions and seem to be assumptions. "Allah" is not the word that my family and I use in referring to God. I realize where you have derived this conclusion from but I disagree.

I am sorry my analogy did not make sense to you. It was simply a personal observance and one that I believe to be true.

Christians in the Holly Land call their god, Allah.

Allah is the same god as Christian's God.

 

The reasons for the almost exclusive criticism of the Christian "god" is that is the god with whom we are familiar, whether Atheist, Agnostic, Deist, or alternative.

The item yo quote most probably addresses Arab Atheists -- those closest to the Muslim religion.  I am sure there are atheists there and that their criticism is aimed at Mohammedanism because that is the religion familiar to them.

So your analogy really makes no sense.
