Re: texture,
I am happy to hear that you know of what I speak.  I have said so many things that I know not of which you speak.  I will assume that the one of which you speak is the one to which I find your comment most gratifying.  Thank you, I think; or thank you I hope; or something.

Re: Bright I,

You have been around here long enough to know.  Blocking gets used in many ways, but the occasional personality battles that sprout up around here frequently involve Blocking.  I will not say that it is never needed.  I have known many people, here and in the world, who are habitual harassers.

I think of Blocking as a Blogger's Restraining Order.  They aren't always justified, but there is often no alternative.  Bickering in comment sections is never anything but a waste of time.

Re: rocking r

Hang around for a while and you will see petty conflicts arise at Blogit.  It can become quite incredible, although very instructive on the nature of human nature.  You will generally hear about it on the ''grapevine'' via distortions, half-truths, nasty comments and secretive communications.  I don't doubt that you have seen it many times over, considering your line of work.  Keep an eye out for wind of squabbles.  It can be quite entertaining.  Blocking is frequently a part of the game.

People carry human nature around with them everywhere they go.

I know I'm utterly naive here, but do people ever need to use it, whatever it's called?

Re: a rose by any other name...

Thank you.  That summarizes it quite well.  Personally, I would have carried that on to a much more hyperverbose extent, but as a general rule that is rather unwise.  Or is it?  I guess it depends on how it is done.

Re: sam444

Yes, there are many ways of seeing anything.  The real question is whether seeing one thing in many ways has any effect on the nature of the thing itself.  I can look at a car from the driver's side, the passenger's side, the front, or the rear.  Each will give me a different view.  But does any view change the nature of the car?  Caution must be taken in forming conclusions regarding the nature of various aspects of the real (or imagined) nature of the universe.

Re: texture,

Well, naturally, the first thing I had to do was check out your profile and your blog list.  You can bet on hearing from me again.  I think we have been allocated the same area of space-time.  I have heard of love at first sight.  Is there such a thing as love at first write?

Actually, I shouldn't even ask.  I have experienced it more than once.  Sometimes it falls straight into quicksand, other times it falls in after a while, other times it goes on until you think you will go insane.  I never know what to think until I see who is shooting in which direction.

There is always more than one way to view things! I had not thought of it in this manner but I must say I do agree! sam
