Use anything you like.

Thanks Taps it was fun to write
and I adore chooks they are silly animals but lovable ones. I love that story and you have given me an idea for a lovely children's story in the future about chooks and a ring that ends up on the dinner plate. Can I use it or will it be theft of a good idea?

Take care and catch you later.

Oh how I loved this, Norwood.
Chickens were a part of my early life.
I loved how excited they would get in the summertime when mom would throw them the watermelon rinds after a family watermelon feast.  They would peck them down to a thin green skin.  I also liked the way they pecked at shiny things.  One day I took off my little birthstone ring and held it out to a hen to peck at.  I didn't hold onto it good enough and she swallowed it and I cried, but I was afraid to tell mom or dad.  One Sunday mom was going to fix a chicken dinner and she found my ring in its gizzard--unharmed.  So I got it back.  LOL
