- Go to I stand in the heart of a raging storm...
Marta - you continue to amaze me with your powerful imagery. The roots of the heart....the storms of life...the tears to purify...you take my breath away with the love in your verse.

I read this poem and then sat, wordless and unable to comment
I was to overwhelmed by the turbulent hope of this poem that I lost the ability to form words. Thank you, I needed this today

"what outward might can destroy that power which is the very basis of
the human heart?"...a great question, Sinome, and I would say a definite "None."...many powers out there can make us and break us, hurt us badly,.

..but
never destroy us.

....tears have a power all their own...

Sinome
Crying and its remarkable cleansing power can renew us and let us see our world in a slightly different light. Beautiful, my friend…..

The flight from the deep abyss to the higher realms in love to the skies, likened to
an old oak tree which bends but does not break, trusting the power of the roots of love . Yoo have won my heart with this today, my princess xoxoxo

I adore ending with hope! Hi Sweetie! I had to come read you first; I needed an imagery fix, badly! I am done moving! What a relief! I am taking tomorrow off with the exception of hooking up the waher and dryer! I hope I sleep for ten hours , too! Love you! sammie

I love the quercus. Once I tried to see how many of the 400 species I could find, and collect, and pressed a leaf from each. I had so much fun doing that and documenting what kind it was and where I found it. I watched for them in my travels around the country. I even got my sons interested in helping me. Thinking about it makes me want to do it again. Any analogy to the oak is great in poetry or inspirational writings. Good going.
