Wow, that IS a good question
I toured a house once that was 'for sale by owner', even though the owner was a realtor. She actually lived right next door to the place. I felt a strange sadness in one of the bedrooms; unexplainable...further on in the tour, I said (for no good reason) 'There aren't any ghosts here or anything, are there?" She was taken aback, and said no of course not...but I later found out that the very room I'd had the 'vibes' in was the room the father of the house had committed suicide in....so there's got to be something to that...and due to that experience, no, I would not under any circumstances buy a house with that stigma. I do believe a place can get some new, good vibes going; I'm just not the woman for the job; I'm far too sensitive to whatever's going on in those places.

great questions :)
I dont think death is as horrific as they would like you to believe, so for me death and birth is the same, for sure I would not have a problem if somebody died, hell people die every day, if you are going to be afraid to live in a house where somebody died, you may as well get off the planet because people die....lol

Re: I moved into an apartment
I could not have done that

I moved into an apartment
where I had to step over the dead body of the previous tenant.

Not moving in -- but he died of a heart attack during the hot summer of 1980.  I had kept my equipment and tools in a shed in back and was there picking something up when his brother came looking about him.  I put a ladder up to the window and saw his body lying there by the apartment door, had to step over it to open the door and let the brother in and police and EMS etc.

Later, after the apt. was cleaned, I moved in.

I think you guys probably stayed with me there a weekend or two.

Re: Yes I could, Yes I do
Crazy stuff, I grew up in a house that had bumps in the night as well.

Yes I could, Yes I do
The house I'm currently living in (my parents house) has been in our family for generations. A great Uncle of mine had a heart attack and died one New Years Eve years ago. His name was George (Uncle George to me). This house has switched hands at least 4 times and ever since Uncle George passed it has taken on some strange attributes. The first and foremost being that stuff of ours dissapears without a trace. For example my Mother had an envelope with 80 dollars cash in it. She kept it hidden to the point where only her and my Father knew it's location. One day it had just disappeared. My Mother, Father, Brother and I searched the house high and low only to come up empty handed. We also see jet black shapes moving across mirrors out of the corners of our eyes, hear office chairs rolling across the hard wood floors only to find it not have moved at all and foot steps on the second floor when down on the first floor.
