I have the same kind of phone. Most of the time I don't even have it turned on.
They still cook up stuff to charge me for, but it never exhausts the base amount that I pay every three months.
I should use it more just to get my money's worth out of the thing, but it's mostly just an emergency deal.
For a tow truck or a call when I can't remember the other thing I had in mind to get at the store.
The IPOD guy that I met keeps his shopping list on his phone.

I have a prepaid phone at its most basic. No photos, just phone calls. It has games, but I ignore that. No contracts, you just have to keep the service time paid up in advance--you pay both for airtime units and for service. One you keep track of on the phone's screen, the other on a calendar.

I would like to have a phone that does only that myself. Do you know of anyplace that I can find one? The twits are getting into the action now and broadcasting nude pictures of themselves doing it. I don't want to pay for a phone that does all of that, but somehow the phone providers keep raising their monthly charges to pay for it and I get stuck with the bill when all I want is a yak box. What do you think I should do?

I like a phone that just makes and gets phone calls.
I have a camera to take pictures, and would rather chat with someone in actual English than use itty-bitty keys to text-speak. I'd rather get a letter from a friend than an e-mail, but it doesn't happen much anymore.
