I'm not quite understanding....is the person about to be hanged?!? If so, this was an tearful poem full of lost hope and lessons hopefully learned. If not, and it is a metaphorical hanging, then I'm not quite sure what the speaker is hung up over and what the lesson is to be learned... An interesting piece with interesting images though. I just didn't quite catch the connection.
